As MGallery The Bodrum Hotel Yalıkavak, we are a leading provider of management and hospitality services for venues and events. Our Occupational Health and Safety Policy defines our company goals and demonstrates our commitment to improving occupational health and safety. We have implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that complies with the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 International Standard to ensure the safety of all personnel in the workplace, including employees, service providers, and visitors.

Our company commits to the following:

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, regulations, standards, and codes of practice;
  • Setting clear objectives and targets and monitoring them through departmental meetings and management system review meetings to improve workplace health and safety;
  • Providing and maintaining safe facilities and work systems;
  • Controlling Occupational Health and Safety risks through a hierarchy of controls;
  • Implementing a risk management framework that defines, encourages, and continuously improves health and safety performance;
  • Providing employees with health and safety information, instructions, resources, systems, training, and supervision as necessary to ensure their safety;
  • Maintaining written policies and procedures to support and communicate effective health and safety practices;
  • Encouraging and fostering active participation, consultation, communication, and cooperation with employees in the promotion and development of measures to improve workplace health and safety;

Our company is committed to maintaining our formal Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 International Standard. We will comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and adopt appropriate responsibility standards where specific regulations do not exist. We believe that all employees and service providers play a significant role in achieving our environmental goals. Our company promotes respect for the environment and ensures that the principles of our Environmental Management System are appreciated and adhered to by our facilities’ service providers.

Our Environmental Policy includes:

  • Continuously improving our environmental management;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Establishing objectives and targets for the Environmental Management System, regularly reviewed by management through departmental and management system review meetings;
  • Preventing pollution, using environmentally friendly products and technology, minimizing the use of non-renewable resources such as energy and potable water, minimizing waste, developing applicable recycling opportunities, and ensuring appropriate disposal methods;
  • Developing and implementing emergency response plans to minimize and address any environmental impacts;
  • Continuously assessing the environmental impacts of our activities;
  • Understanding the environmental aspects and impacts of our activities;
  • Considering waste avoidance and environmental impact reduction in procurement;
  • Disseminating environmental information and reporting on environmental performance.

ENERGY POLICY

As MGallery The Bodrum Hotel Yalıkavak, we efficiently use our energy and set targets to reduce energy consumption to protect our world from potential hazards.

For this, we:

  • Follow national and international standards, laws, and regulations to fulfill our responsibilities towards nature and legal obligations, voluntarily conducting activities to reduce energy use and/or continuously improve our energy consumption performance, and tracking the results of our efforts.
  • Set targets and include energy efficiency in our training programs to engage our employees.
  • Value cooperation with all our stakeholders to create common goals and outcomes in energy management, striving to maintain interaction with our guests, employees, visitors, and all business partners to reach a comprehensive awareness and consciousness level.
  • Research, purchase, and use energy-efficient products, equipment, tools, and technology alternatives.
  • Aim to document our Energy Management System, disseminate it to all departments, update it when necessary, review it, and continuously improve it.
  • Evaluate energy risks or potential emergencies such as energy constraints and plan preventive measures.

FOOD SAFETY POLICY

As MGallery The Bodrum Hotel Yalıkavak, we are a leading provider of management and hospitality services for venues and events. Our Food Safety Management System forms the foundation of systematically ensuring food safety and good manufacturing practices through formal procedures and processes governed by Hazard Control Plans. A Food Safety Team has been appointed and authorized to maintain the integrity of our Food Safety Management System.

To ensure this, we:

  • Prepare and present legal, safe, and quality products that meet guest expectations;
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 Food Safety Standards and all relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Continuously improve food safety performance through regular system audits, evaluations, and improvement planning.
  • Set business and food safety goals supporting food safety principles, regularly monitored and reviewed;
  • Welcome guest feedback as a means to facilitate continuous improvement and identify guest needs and expectations;
  • Ensure all employees are properly trained, including food handling training, and informed about relevant food safety information;
  • Communicate relevant food safety information and report on food safety performance;
  • Inform guests about important nutritional and allergen information;
  • Inform guests not to consume externally sold food within the hotel premises;
  • Prohibit the consumption of externally purchased food within the hotel premises due to the inability to perform necessary microbiological tests on these foods to ensure their safety;
  • Take steps to communicate and ensure the understanding of this policy among all employees; and
  • Provide sufficient resources for the implementation of this policy.
